The Department offers the following programmes:

• MBA (Self Finance/evening)

Department emphasizes the selection of candidates who have the potential and aptitude for becoming executives. Out of around twelve hundred applications received, sixty candidates are granted admission every year in MBA and another sixty in MPA programs each in January; forty students are admitted to MBA program (Self finance) in September every year. The admission is made on the basis of merit, and performance in the admission test subject to regional quota.

Various measures are employed to ensure high standards of education and performance. As a first step, a competitive admission system is in place to admit the best students. The teaching methodology is varied, practical and oriented towards versatile learning through lectures, assignments, projects and case studies. In each course, students’ performance is evaluated through surprise quizzes, presentations, class discussions, mid-term and terminal exams.
